Land-Based Training

We provide training with your child, service user or client teaching you how to handle and support them to influence their muscle tone and facilitate their movement (dampening dystonic movements, reducing high tone (spasticity) managing fluctuating tone and stimulating and increasing arousal levels if low) before movement and changes of position, dressing, personal care etc, how to promote sitting ability, head and trunk control, stability, motor development and function as is realistic. We look at handling when changing position, transitions, stand transfers, and postural management. We take a problem-solving approach.
